Ferriers Barn day centre is based in converted farm buildings set around a beautiful courtyard and accessible garden.
Ferriers Barn is part of Suffolk County Council and Essex County Councils day opportunities program.
Not only do we provide all the activities in house, we also ensure our members are intergrated into our local community.
We all enjoy bowling, the cinema, visits to the local park and pubs, also special visits to Colchester Castle and Colchester Zoo.
At Christmas we always go to the Mercury Theatre for their brilliant panto.
Transport for those living in the Colchester area is provided by a specially adapted bus, which carries members with or without wheelchairs.
